Given Magic Eden’s solid reputation and expanding multi-chain ambitions, it’s likely that top-tier exchanges will support $ME, and the initial demand could lead to a significant price surge if the tokenomics and rollout are well-executed​.

On the flip side, marketplace tokens have been done before and $ME will need to offer more than just governance or trading utility to sustain long-term demand. The NFT market as a whole is only a fraction of what it once was, so while Magic Eden remains an industry leader, that industry has shrunk quite a bit and therefore so has their addressable market.

Whether $ME holders will get some sort of exclusive access or perks in the NFT marketplace is something we’ll have to wait and see. However, we believe Magic Eden has the potential to make it happen and this token is definitely one to keep an eye on when it launches!
